Europe. This was a shoot to remember:) Rain with snow, model in high heel pumps standing in the water, she was almost blue, I was glad we were shooting black and white. My viewfinder was totally foggy from warm breath coming up against the cold air, I was focusing and shooting on pure intuition, and as fast as I could:) Love this photo:) The model is my hero!

Shooting on location in Europe - what could be more fun?:)

I have been photographing quite a lot of Miss Playboy models. This is Jamie Edmondson, miss January of last year. I prefer to photograph these ladies in a very classy way, with some fashion flair, as there is already an abundance of photographers who just want to showcase their certain body parts:) So if you are a Playboy model, be sure you will look fabulously classy in our photos! 

It was so much FUN shooting for MAXIM 2010 Hometown Hotties competition:) Just a little info about the process: around 1500 girls submit their photos and home videos to be considered every year. Then 100 get selected and online voting games begin! After several months top 10 finalists get chosen and photo and videographed. After more weeks of online voting the finalist gets chosen. Wonderful Olivia Tyler, aka Ollie:) FORD’s new face, it was her 2nd shoot ever. I absolutely loved her look and kept complimenting her. This is what her mom wrote me later that week:

wonder if u heard the great news…olivia was chosen to be the u.s. supermodel search winner. we are still in shock, it does not seem real. i know that her time w/you and gen gave her that boost of confidence it took to proceed as she did…what wonderful timing!
pls let gen know the good news. hope to work with u both again very soon! also, philip is next…he got “discovered” waiting in line w/his sister. we should have made an entire day of it and hired u for philip’s test shoot…what was i thinking?!
